Job Description
British Gymnastics has the following permanent full-time post:

Events & Experiences Partner (North West and West Midlands)

The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference across the gymnastics community by shaping and supporting positive experiences for participants in the North West and West Midlands focused regions. You will play a key part in facilitating a wide range of events and activities, ensuring they are safe, inclusive and enjoyable for all.
By reviewing the current event landscape with sensitivity and insight, you will identify opportunities to strengthen and expand local provision, helping to increase capacity and enhance the overall quality of experiences available. You will also influence the delivery of events led by affiliated organisations and delivery partners, supporting them to meet high standards and ensuring consistency across the wider network. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to the ongoing development of events and experiences that reflect the needs of our community and the values of British Gymnastics.
Main areas responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the role are:

• Deliver local events and programmes that create safe, inclusive and enjoyable experiences for participants by engaging with affiliated organisations and delivery partners across the stipulated regions.
• Coordinate key elements of event delivery, including logistics, documentation, communications and on-site support to ensure smooth and high-quality experiences.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clubs, regions, delivery partners and other key stakeholders to support shared goals and community needs.
• Utilise systems to administer events, manage entries, track budgets, process expenditure and support organisers to use British Gymnastics systems effectively.
• Support the delivery of national recreational events, pathway events and major international events, taking on delegated administrative and coordination duties.
• Contribute to embedding governance, safe sport and inclusive practice by upholding British Gymnastics policies and values as part of every aspect of event delivery.

About you
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• An understanding of gymnastics environments and the value that high quality events and experiences bring to participants.
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to build respectful and constructive relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders.
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to listen, share information effectively and support others.
• Strong organisational and administration skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate and prioritise tasks in a busy and varied role.
• A willingness to learn, adapt and contribute ideas, identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and the overall experience for participants.
• A positive, proactive attitude, with the flexibility to contribute to a range of activities that support safe, inclusive and high-quality event delivery.
