Job Description
Gymnastics isn’t just a sport—it’s a powerful force for change.

We believe in the power of gymnastics to change lives, enrich communities, and deliver an uplifting gymnastics experience for all across the UK.

At the heart of this are the people who make up the gymnastics community – gymnasts, parents, coaches, clubs, officials and volunteers – working together in communities across the country. As the national governing body for gymnastics in the UK, we work in partnership with our members to lead, support and inspire, helping to shape a bright future for our sport.

Our vision, Leap Without Limits, is underpinned by the values of being Aspirational, Supportive and Inclusive. Together, we’re building a sport where everyone feels welcomed, encouraged and able to thrive. This role is an important part of making that vision a reality.

The Opportunity

To build on our vision, we are now looking for an individual who can help strengthen our connection with members and support the continued growth of our community. This role supports clear, consistent, and effective communications, marketing activity, and digital content across operational and digital channels. The role aims to help registered clubs and members understand the value of membership and experience a seamless joining and renewal journey.

Main responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the role are:

• Support clear, timely, and consistent communications that enable the smooth operation of membership joining and renewal for individuals, clubs, and delivery partners across the full user journey.
• Contribute to the delivery and promotion of the membership value proposition through marketing content, website updates and member communications.
• Maintain and update website content and digital resources to support an accurate and accessible member experience.
• Support digital content projects, including imagery updates, audits, resolving content issues and contributing to SEO activity.
• Collaborate with the Insight team to track, report, and share membership data and insight, contributing to reports, forecasting, and decision-making as required.
• Contribute to understanding member needs, behaviour and experience through feedback, consultation and insight activity.
• Embed safe sport, inclusive practice and organisational values in all work, contributing to a positive and respectful environment.

About you
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Knowledge and experience in communications, marketing activity and digital content, with an understanding of customer journeys.
• Experience using modern content management systems such as WordPress and Storyblok
• Strong digital skills, excellent English language skills and understanding of GDPR.
• A degree or equivalent experience in relevant field such as Communications, English or Digital Marketing.
• The ability to work independently and within a team, with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and accessible content.
• The ability to work with empathy, emotional intelligence and respect, building positive relationships across the organisation and wider community.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledge with colleagues.
How to apply
To apply for this role please visit https://britishgymnastics.jobs.people-first.com/jobs/search. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive organisation. We particularly welcome applications from women, people with disabilities, people from ethnically diverse communities, and people who identify as LGBTQIA+, as these groups are currently under-represented in our workforce.
