Contract type Permanent (Full time) Closing date 25 July 2025 Interview date 18 August 2025 Job Description British Fencing is looking to appoint two Assistant Performance Coaches on a part time basis to work closely with the Head Performance Coach to deliver coaching to the Wheelchair Fencing World Class Programme athletes and support the development of the Paralympic and Olympic athlete pathway.This will include overseeing an athlete’s annual training programme, reviewing progress, and adapting inputs based on objective feedback working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering personal 1:1 coaching to assigned WFWCP funded athletes in both the training and competition environment.In the Olympic athlete pathway, the coaches will support coaching activity to reinforce high performance coaching processes through coaching practise and delivery.The role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to drive performance forward, a willingness to undertake personal development programmes to meet the demands of an everchanging high performance environment and an ability to work in a decisive and measured manner in high pressure competition situations.
