We have embarked on an exciting new journey, with a modernised commercial and events offering grounded in social impact and storytelling, harnessing the spotlight and inspiration of our athlete’s performance on the world stage, and our growing portfolio of major events.

We are working towards our three key priorities outlined in our strategy; to support and grow the sport to make cycling more inclusive and accessible, to lead on the world stage by winning and winning well, and to drive social impact by tackling inequalities through providing opportunities.

About the role

British Cycling is hiring a full-time Content Lead to join the marketing team based in Manchester. This role sits within the Brand and Engagement directorate, leading content output, working alongside our talented communications, creative, marketing, customer engagement and membership functions to enhance our brand narrative, strengthen our engagement, and increase our reach and relevance.

As a senior member of the marketing team, you will work collaboratively across our directorate and the whole of British Cycling, developing highly effective content plans that showcase British Cycling across social media, website and all owned channels.

You will ensure that the content you oversee has a clear purpose, reflecting British Cycling’s objectives and maintaining a share of voice across our diverse narrative landscape.

Strong relationship management skills are essential, as you will work to lead and develop your own team, collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage external agencies, freelancers and suppliers.

What will you be doing?

Own the planning and delivery of the content calendar across British Cycling’s owned channels.

Undertake monthly dashboard reporting and adapt plans accordingly.
