What will you be doing? This role sits within the Great Britain Cycling Team (GBCT), the country’s most successful Olympic and Paralympic team in history. Now is an incredibly exciting year to join GBCT. Fresh off the back of winning 11 Olympic and 22 Paralympic medals at the most recent Games in Paris, as well as having recently celebrated 20 years of the GBCT pathway, we are a team with high ambitions to continue this legacy at LA 2028 and beyond. As part of this role you will be: 1- Manage and coordinate the delivery of GBCT programmes, ensuring all activities are underpinned by effective policies, processes, and strategic alignment to support a world-class performance environment. 2- Play an active role in overseeing safeguarding, integrity, and equality initiatives, ensuring compliance, inclusivity, and operational excellence across all programme areas. 3- Provide strategic and operational management, including line management of Programme Coordinators, collaboration with departmental leads, and reporting to the Head of Performance Delivery to support the execution of GBCT’s broader strategy. What we’re looking for: 1- Strategic and detail-oriented, with the ability to lead the programmes department through effective policy development, process oversight, and alignment with GBCT’s performance goals. 2- A confident communicator and collaborator, capable of managing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, and ensuring clear, consistent communication across departments. 3- Proactive and solutions-focused, with strong project management skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
