Job Description
REPORTS TO: HPC Operations Manager
LOCATION: Robins High Performance Centre, BS8 3TN
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent, Full Time

Bristol City Football Club has a vacancy for a full-time laundry operative to assist and support our laundry team. (Part Time job share will be considered for the right candidate)

Based at the club’s Robins High Performance Centre in Failand, this role is a vital part of keeping the club functioning and will involve working within the laundry team providing an exceptional standard of laundry service for Bristol City, Bristol City Women and supporting the Club’s Kit Manager’s primarily on all aspects of laundry services. You should be an enthusiastic ambassador for the clubs helping to deliver the high standards that we aim to achieve across the club.

The hours will be 37.5 across the week on a rota with weekend and evening shift working. Shifts to be Monday, Tuesday, Friday 12pm -8pm or 1pm-9pm on Wednesday / Thursday / Sunday day shifts 08.30-4.30pm (Would consider part time job share)

Key Responsibilities
• To work in the laundry room providing a laundry service for BCFC.
• To assist with washing, drying, folding and organisation of all kits for training and matches.
• To support the laundry team to ensure that all Men’s First team, U21, Academy and Women’s First team kits are prepared and in place for training and fixtures
• To ensure laundry room and surrounding rooms are kept clean & tidy and to ensure any issues with machines or work areas are reported straight away.
• Work within Health & Safety guidelines and raise any H&S issues and complete daily / weekly machinery and health and safety checks.
• To keep any information gained regarding the club and its personnel confidential, displaying a high level of discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
• To always represent the Club in a professional manner.
• To be a champion of equality and diversity in the workplace and treat all staff, contractors, sponsors and clients with fairness, dignity and respect.

Qualifications and Skills
• Driving licence and own vehicle required due to remote location and shifts.
• Motivated and positive attitude towards your task with a pleasant, patient and helpful personality.
• The drive and ability to work on your own initiative.
• Proficient laundry skills preferred – We will however provide full training on all equipment.
• A flexible approach to work at all times with a hands-on approach.
• The ability to deliver a high standard of professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.
• Confident clear communication skills with the ability to communicate with a range of people.
• The ability to work under pressure and re-prioritise workloads effectively.
• A reliable and trustworthy nature.
