Futsal Coach

Bradfield College
Organisation
Bradfield College
Salary
£25 - £50 per hour dependent on skills and experience
Location
Bradfield College, Bradfield, Berkshire, RG7 6AU
Contract type
Permanent (Part time)
Closing date
29 October 2025
Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Futsal Coach to support the long-term development of some of our junior footballers.

You will play a key role coaching those who have been identified as being potential 1st XI players in the future.

The role will involve working with players to improve their technical and tactical understanding of the game. Coaching will take place on a weekly basis through the Lent Term – Monday 5th January to Friday 27th March 2026.

You will lead two out of the three midweek sessions which will take place as follows:

• Wednesday: 4.15pm - 6.00pm
• Thursday: 4.30pm – 5.30pm
• Friday: 6.00pm - 7.00pm

Saturday / Sunday fixtures will take place on either Saturday (4.00pm - 7.00pm), or on a Sunday (1.30 - 4.30pm) for home fixtures, whilst away fixtures may require a longer commitment due to travel time.

Ideally, we would like the appointed coach to be able to lead all of these sessions. There is, however, some flexibility within the programme that would mean we may be able to cover one of the midweek sessions with current staffing if the appointed coach is not able to attend all three. This would be discussed at interview.

In addition to this, we need the coach to be available to lead fixtures at the weekend. The majority of these are at Bradfield and will require a time commitment of approximately two hours. For the occasional away fixture, the time commitment will be greater and dependent on the time required to travel to and from the location of the fixture.

There may also be the opportunity to work additional hours supporting pre-season at the end of the Christmas holidays and tournament dates within the Lent Term.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 29th October 2025.

Interviews to be held during the w/c Monday 3rd November 2025.

Applications will be processed as they are received, and we may interview suitable candidates before the closing date.

Bradfield College reserves the right to make an appointment at any time so early applications are encouraged.

Bradfield College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening as part of their application, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
