This will include evening and weekend work and will be required all home match days. Contractual status: Casual workerJob purpose: To support the delivery of exciting matchday experiences at Ewood Park. The role involves helping to run fan engagement activities in the Fanzone, assisting supporters with queries, and ensuring the smooth delivery of pre-match and halftime activities. Duties and responsibilities:• To be committed to ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all staff, customers and clients of the Club;• Support the setup and delivery of Fanzone activities, games, and entertainment. • Provide excellent customer service by assisting supporters with ticketing queries, wayfinding, and general matchday information and procedures. • Assist in the coordination and delivery of pre-match and half-time activities to a high standard. • Act as a friendly and approachable representative of Blackburn Rovers, ensuring all fans feel welcome• Work closely with the Marketing and Matchday Operations teams to ensure activations run smoothlySkills required: • Excellent customer service and communication skills• The ability to work with the minimum of supervision• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a diverse range of people. • Friendly, approachable, and confident when dealing with the public• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.• Flexible and reliable, with a proactive attitude• Previous customer service or event support experience is desirable but not essential.Knowledge required:• Understanding of fan engagement• Awareness of Blackburn Rovers and it’s supporter base• Basic knowledge of digital ticketing systems and matchday operations (training will be provided)• Familiarity with health & safety, and safeguarding principles when working with children and familiesQualifications required:N/ADBS check required: Yes (basic) How to apply Due to high-levels of interest, this post may close early so early application is advised, otherwise the closing date for this role is 12 noon on Thursday 11th September 2025.
