Reports to: Head of Women’s Football Hours of work: Hours of work offered will be for all home match days (Sunday)Contractual status: Casual workerJob purpose: To assist in the running of BRFC Women’s match day activities including positive engagement of fans to promote the football club. Duties and responsibilities:• To be committed to ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all elite players and staff, promoting their well-being whilst maintaining professional boundaries;• To act as liaison for the opposition team and officials to ensure they are greeted at the ground and know where to report to;• To operate the turnstiles, greet the supporters and take payment of all match day entry costs from the ground;• To keep an accurate record and breakdown of all supporters attending matches;• Ensure the home team/away team changing rooms and officials’ changing rooms are left in a clean and tidy condition;• To keep an accurate record of all incoming/outgoing breakdown costs at eachhome game; • To assist with match day activities including guard of honour, player escorts and supervising the ball team when required; • To positively engage with fans to promote the Club’s activities; • To provide an excellent customer service, to give a memorable fan match day experience; and • Any other duties as reasonably required in relation to this role from time to time.Skills required: • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;• To have a pleasant and approachable demeanor;• The ability to work with the minimum of supervision;• The ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating a willingness and ability to perform all functions required of team members;• Maintain a level of flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment; and• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise.Knowledge required:• To have an understanding of dealing with finances and reconciling;• To have an understanding of excel/IT skills; and• Knowledge of safeguarding children and/or vulnerable groups.Qualifications required:• 5 GCSE’s grade A*-C or equivalent; and• Previous Cash handling skills (desirable).• Experience of stewarding and / or football match day operations DBS check required: Yes (enhanced) How to apply Due to high-levels of interest, this post may close early so early application is advised, otherwise the closing date for this role is 12 noon on Friday 15th August 2025.
