Job Description: The Lead Academy Performance Analyst plays a pivotal role within Barnsley FC’s Academy, driving the performance insight that supports the development of young players across all age groups. By combining video analysis, data interpretation, and deep football knowledge, the role helps shape coaching strategies, match preparation, and long‑term player development pathways.

Working closely with coaches, players, and multidisciplinary staff, the Lead Analyst ensures that our Academy continues to meet the highest standards of the modern game.
