Job Description
The Department
Aston Villa Football Club are building a stage for magical memories in our redevelopment and expansion of Villa Park to create a world class sports and entertainment venue and a thriving community hub. Our redevelopment project has included the creation of our new multi-use space, the Sports Illustrated Warehouse. This is a unique, purpose-built live music and events venue which also transforms into our official matchday fan zone.

At the heart of every successful event is the Technical Team who are dedicated to creating the best possible experience for every guest. The Role
We are looking for someone who can delivery high quality-audio across our wide-ranging events whilst also supporting the wider technical operation of the Sports Illustrated Warehouse. This will be a really varied role – there will be a real focus on audio delivery using our L-Acoustics L2 System Operation - delivering clear, consistent FOH and monitor mixes for our events. You will act a key venue contact for any visiting engineers, production teams, artists and clients – preparing venue systems and supporting efficient changeovers all whilst keeping health and safety at the heart of everything we do.

For further information about the Role, please see the Role Profile.
The Person
We are looking for someone who can help us continue to build what the Sports Illustrated Warehouse can offer – you will need to be a clear communicator who can solve problems calmly - reassuring our clients. You will need to have proven experience of working in live music venues and supporting large-scale live events and touring productions, operating digital mixing consoles leading the technical teams during an event. You will need a strong understanding of system tuning, live sound reinforcement and digital audio networking including Dante, AES and AVB. A working knowledge and/or certificate in L-Acoustics would also be ideal.
Given the nature of the role, you will need to be available to work flexibly in line with the Sports Illustrated Warehouse schedule and have with the ability to travel between our Club sites.
