Job Description
1. The Department

The Ticketing Team are responsible for the sale and delivery for all season and matchday tickets across both Premier League, Women Super League (WSL) and U21 fixtures as well as our soccer schools and our Villa Park stadium tours. Our team act as the frontline and shape our fan experience – ensuring that every fan’s journey – from buying a ticket to entering Villa Park – is smooth, welcoming, inclusive and memorable.

2. The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Tour Guide who will create an unforgettable experience at Villa Park as one of English football’s most historic venues. You will be a frontline ambassador for the Club leading groups around Villa Park, walking in the footsteps of our finest players, both past and present. You will stop at points of interest to share stories and bring our Club’s rich heritage to life. You will also blend expert knowledge, humor and personality whilst answering questions with professionalism and keeping our guests safe and co – ordinated at all times.

You will be responsible for carrying out pre – tour checks, ensuring the full route is safe, inclusive and accessible. During the tour you must have the ability to engage with a wide varied audience and adapt delivery accordingly.

3. The Person

You will need proven experience working as a Tour Guide in a similar role and have excellent conversational skills with a flair of storytelling. You will have exemplary customer service skills with passion and enthusiasm to provide unforgettable tour experiences. You will need to be professional and confident whilst presenting, with the ability to adapt your style depending on your audience.

You will also need to be able to flexibly as the Club requires, this will include Matchday working, evenings and weekends. You must also have access to a vehicle and / or the ability to travel to Villa Park.
