Lead Physiotherapist Organisation Areté Performance Salary £48,000pa (pro-rata) Location Sunbury-on-Thames Contract type Permanent (Part time) Closing date 24 October 2025 Job Description Areté Performance have an exciting opportunity available to join our team, based primarily at our new performance centre in Sunbury-on-Thames and leading the physiotherapy provision for one of our partner teams. We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and professionally registered physiotherapists on a part-time, fixed-term basis but with high potential to progress to a full-time position. This role brings you into the Areté team, allowing you to develop integrate your skillset within our performance and rehabilitation frameworks.-------------------------------------Company Overview:Areté provide elite performance support, coaching and rehabilitation services for individuals and organisations. We deeply understand the sporting journey, from youth development to elite performance and we’re specialists at getting journey’s back on track when they falter, with our holistic approach to rehabilitation.-------------------------------------About you• Dedicated to becoming the best practitioner you can be and committed to continuous professional development• Creative and growth-minded – keen to develop your skills and understanding of elite performance• Experience of working with a variety of individuals/teams, from novice to elite performers• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology• Experience in assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions• Membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy• Great manual therapy skills• At least 3 years experience of working in performance sport as a physiotherapist• Evidence of a proven track record in designing detailed return to performance plans, that take a holistic view of rehabilitation, with clear consideration of the physical demands that the athlete must return to within their sport.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, colleagues and referrers, in addition to being able to operate within the rules of professional confidentiality to liaise with athletes, other medical staff, sports science staff, coaches and other support staff as appropriate• Commitment to develop professional relationships with other professionals to provide all round care for our patients.• An understanding of individual responsibility in complying with Health and Safety policiesThis role includes regular performance reviews and audit of client notes, PROMs and PREMs data, with all data being collected within in our internal client management system.-------------------------------------Areté strive to support everyone within our organisation to develop both professionally and as a person.
