Sports Graduate(s) Organisation Ardingly College Salary £20,210 Location Ardingly, Haywards Heath Contract type Fixed Term (Full time) Closing date 2 January 2026 Job Description Ardingly College is seeking to appoint Sport graduates in any of theCollege’s core sports (Football, Hockey, Netball or Cricket) to support the Sports department from September 2026 until August 2027.The role will involve coaching sport and promoting the general progress and well-being of individual pupils. The successful candidate will be required to take part in the Prep & Senior School games programme throughout the whole week and support the Director of Sport & Head(s) of Sport with organising and preparing for fixtures on Fridays, alongside attending Saturday fixtures.Candidates should have a high level of experience in playing and coaching in any of the College’s core sports: Football, Hockey, Netball or Cricket. The candidate should be self-motivated, have the ability to work well in a busy team environment and be able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff.Sports Graduates report to their respective Heads of Sport for the fulfilment of duties.Key Responsibilities:Provide assistance in the areas of sport that are offered to both boys and girls. This includes (but is not limited to):Preparing equipment for both games sessions and matchesCoaching a team either alone or alongside another member of staffAssisting the Head of Prep Sport for training on their Games afternoons - Mon/Wed/FriCoaching a team during Senior GamesSupporting the teaching of Core PESupporting and leading aspects of GCSE PE practical lessons where appropriateOffer EP/After School Sports Clubs (Prep/Senior) in liaison with the Head of Prep Sport and Director of Sport (timetable permitting)Provide the Sports Department with basic administrative support including SOCS /Website updates.
