Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education, experience working with children, and a commitment to fostering a healthy, active lifestyle among students. This role offers an opportunity to inspire students through engaging PE lessons, promote physical literacy, and support their overall development in a supportive learning environment. Candidates with an enhanced DBS will be fast tracked to a telephone interview.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging PE curriculum tailored to various age groups and skill levels
Plan and execute dynamic lesson plans that incorporate fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and motor skills development
Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with diverse needs.
Uphold strong behaviour management standards to create a positive learning environment that encourages respect and cooperation
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and curriculum review processes

Skills

Experience with children across various age groups; nursery - year 6
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a safe, inclusive environment
Ability to deliver engaging lesson plans
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
Creativity in lesson planning and proficiency in proofreading instructional materials to ensure clarity and accuracy
