The ultimate football experience.The RoleAs a Let’s Play Football Coach, you will deliver high quality, engaging football and freestyle sessions to a group of approximately 10–15 children. Your focus will be on creating a fun, safe and inspiring environment while maintaining excellent group control, positive energy and professional delivery.You’ll plan and deliver sessions following the Let’s Play Football curriculum, adapt activities to meet the needs of your group, and encourage every child to be at their BEST.Coaches are also responsible for ensuring participants are wearing shin pads and appropriate footwear.________________________________________Key ResponsibilitiesPre Camp• Complete all Activate Camps training.• Complete onboarding tasks accurately and on time.• Review and understand the timetable and curriculum.During Camp• Present professionally in full Activate uniform.• Support camp set up and registration.• Lead a group of 10–15 children.• Deliver fun, technical and progressive football/freestyle sessions.• Lead an Extra Time Club activity.• Assist with grouping children based on ability on Day 1.• Supervise children during breaks and lunchtimes.• Ensure children’s health, safety and wellbeing at all times.• Communicate with parents when required.• Support the Camp Manager with reasonable requests.• Maintain a clean, safe camp environment and report hazards or incidents promptly.• Lead a team in World Cup activities and manage point scoring.• Support reflective practice with your group at the end of each day.• Ensure all children leave safely with their belongings.Post Camp• Pack away equipment safely.• Complete and submit daily session logs to Head Office.• Participate in a staff debrief.• Prepare sessions and equipment for the following day.________________________________________What We’re Looking ForEssential• Valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).• Strong safeguarding awareness.• Basic understanding of health and safety.• Experience leading groups of children.• Passion for working with young people.• FA Level 1 (or equivalent experience).• Good football knowledge.• Confident communicating with parents.Desirable• Previous work on a football camp.• Evidence of regular FA CPD.• FA Level 2 coaching qualification.
