Job Description
Netball Fever – Coaching Manager
Pay: £15.17 per hour
Hours: 8:30–4:30pm OR 9:30–5:30pm (venue dependent)
Travel Expenses: 30p per mile after first 35 miles

Netball Fever is a high energy, 3 day netball experience designed for young players aged 7–16. Developed with Super League input, our camps challenge, build confidence, and help every child progress—while having a brilliant time!

We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and organised Coaching Manager to lead the delivery of our camps the Activate Way.

What You’ll Do
As the Coaching Manager, you will be the driving force behind the camp’s quality, safety and overall buzz. You will:
Before Camp
• Complete all required onboarding & training
• Understand the camp timetable & curriculum
• Support with child grouping and timetable creation
During Camp
• Lead with professionalism in full Activate uniform
• Oversee daily camp operations, equipment, safety & safeguarding
• Lead your own group of 10–15 children
• Deliver fun, technically strong netball sessions following the Netball Fever curriculum
• Support and mentor coaches and assistant coaches
• Manage pastoral issues, injuries and wellbeing
• Communicate with parents and be the welcoming face of the camp
• Liaise with Head Office as the onsite lead
• Run Team Challenges, award points and encourage BEST behaviour (Bravery, Enthusiasm, Sportsmanship, Teamwork)
• Complete all required paperwork (registers, incident forms, checklists)
• Lead the “Super Star of the Day” celebration
After Camp
• Ensure equipment is packed and stored correctly
• Complete coaching logs and submit to Head Office
• Participate in a team debrief
• Prepare for the following day

What We’re Looking For
Essential
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Strong safeguarding and Health & Safety awareness
• Passion for working with children
• England Netball Level 2 qualification or significant netball coaching experience
• Excellent technical understanding of netball
• Confident communicator with children, staff and parents
Desirable
• England Netball Level 3 qualification
• Experience mentoring or developing coaches
• Previous senior role on holiday camps
• Evidence of ongoing CPD
• Experience managing staff teams
