The inaugural Elite Sport Performance Research in Training (ESPRIT) Conference was hosted by Loughborough University on 8 October.
The event encouraged the 170 delegates from sport, academia and industry to explore what can be done to use sensors to enhance sports performance for British athletes in 2012, but also to drive technological advances in sport way beyond the Games in London and apply this knowledge to the use of remote sensing in healthcare.
