Talent 2012: Paralympic Potential
The UK Talent Team, in partnership with ParalympicsGB, is seeking sportsmen and women with the potential to become Paralympic champions in 2012. We are looking for individuals who may have undiscovered talents in a number of Paralympic sports.

Talent 2012: Fighting Chance
Talent 2012: Fighting Chance is a talent transfer initiative offering high level combat athletes from all kicking orientated martial arts, including taekwondo, the opportunity to trial for a place in the elite taekwondo academy.

Talent 2016: Tall and Talented
Introducing an exciting initiative to find the next generation of Olympic gold medallists with the drive and passion to succeed in rowing, basketball and other targeted Olympic sports.

Girls4Gold
In June 2008 the UK Talent Team began a search for highly competitive sportswomen with the potential to become Olympic champions in cycling and other targeted Olympic sports (bob skeleton, canoeing, modern pentathlon, rowing and sailing). Girls4Gold is the single most extensive female sporting talent recruitment drive ever undertaken in Great Britain.

Pitch2Podium
Pitch2Podium is an exciting programme created by the UK Talent Team and our partners within the football and rugby authorities. The aim of the programme is to provide young football and rugby players who have been unsuccessful in securing a professional contract, with a second chance opportunity to succeed in a new Olympic sport.

Sporting Giants
In February 2007 the UK Talent Team set out to awaken some future giants of British sport. In the first appeal of its kind, UK Sport asked potential athletes to make themselves known – providing they fulfilled the basic criteria of being tall (a minimum of 6’3” or 190cm for men and 5’11” or 180cm for women), young (between 16 and 25), and with some sort of athletic background.
