British Weight Lifting were represented by four athletes at the rearranged Olympic Games in Tokyo with Zoe Smith, Emily Campbell, Emily Muskett and Sarah Davies all respresentign Team GB making it the biggest British Weight Lifting team at a Games since 1992 and the biggest number of female British Olympic Weight Lifters to secure a place at the Olympics.
At the Games, Campbell made further history by becoming Great Britain's first ever female Olympic medallist and the first Brit to win a weightlifting medal at the Olympics since David Mercer in 1984.
