Culture Health Check Surveys

The Culture Health Check is designed to allow sports to monitor the culture of their World Class Programme across the Tokyo (summer) and Beijing (winter) cycles and beyond. It is a continued development of the Culture Health Check introduced in July 2017. Two checks will be required for Summer Sports – one in 2018 and one in 2019 and two for Winter Sports – one in 2019 and one in 2020. Each exercise will comprise three surveys covering the following groups:  athletes, staff and stakeholders associated with each sport’s World Class Programme.

We would welcome bids from any companies that feel they have knowledge and experience of undertaking the design and email distribution of Health Checks/surveys. 

Suppliers wishing to tender are requested to register their expression of interest by emailing Rebecca.cole@uksport.gov.uk by 16:30 on Tuesday 05 June 2018 along with any clarification questions they may have in accordance with paragraph 8 of this ITT.

Taekwondo World Championships and Grand Prix

The Taekwondo Grand Prix will be held at the Regional Arena, Etihad Campus, East Manchester from 19th to 21st October 2018. This is the fourth time that Great Britain has played host to this event and the second time in this venue (last version in 2015). 

The Taekwondo World Championships will be held at the world leading Manchester Arena, Victoria Station, Manchester from 15th to 19th May 2019. This is the first time Great Britain has held this global event, attracting over 1000 athletes from 200 countries as well as numerous functions and conferences across a 10 day period.

We are looking for a partner that will present exciting broadcast proposals, bringing this event to life whilst ensuring brilliant basics are delivered on the technical aspects.

We look forward to working with an innovative and experienced broadcast and online services provider on these exciting events and invite you to submit proposals as per the attached.

Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup 2018 - Provision of Security Services

England Hockey is a limited company that is not for profit with an annual turnover of circa £10m. England Hockey is responsible for the strategic direction for the sport, undertakes a lead role in developing the image and brand of the sport, of marketing it and its governance. Hosting major events is a key strand of England Hockey’s strategy.

England Hockey is excited to be playing host to the Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup in the summer of 2018. For further details of the event, including the schedule please see the event web site here.

With the prestige of the event, importance of the event from a performance perspective and increased expectations from all our client groups, a comprehensive, efficient, customer focused Security Service is required. The current Severe threat level in the UK requires a quality, experienced approach supporting the safe delivery of the event for all.

Due the profile of the Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup 2018, England Hockey is currently reviewing the provision of Security Services to England Hockey. This has led to the release of this ITT and this exciting opportunity.

England Hockey works in partnership with London Legacy Development Corporation and Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre. As part of the licensing agreement, on event the chosen provider will report directly into Vibrant Partnerships, the Operator of Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in relation to all matters of spectator safety and security. Vibrant Partnerships will also be included throughout the tender assessment process.

Following this process, England Hockey will award a single contract relating to Security Services for the Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup 2018.

In addition to England Hockey has secured participation for both international teams (men and women) in the FIH Pro League from 2019 onwards. This will see England Hockey hosting up to 16 international matches annually as part of this global league for which further opportunities could follow to the successful Bidder.

Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup 2018 - Provision of IT Services

England Hockey is excited to be playing host to the Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup in the summer of 2018. For further details of the event, including the schedule, please see the event web site here.

England Hockey is seeking an IT Services and Operations provider to deliver these services in partnership with us and the International Hockey Federation (FIH).

This is the largest stand alone hockey event to be held in the UK and with an event of this size, there is a requirement for significant additional IT infrastructure and services to be supplied on a temporary basis. Therefore a comprehensive, efficient, customer focused service is required from a contractor evidencing previous experience of delivery at World and, or, European level sports events.

Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup 2018 - Provision of Public Catering in the Spectator Village

From 21 July to 5 August 2018, England Hockey will host the Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup, the biggest stand alone women’s hockey event this country has ever seen. The top 16 women’s teams in the world will play across 14 competition dates, with one country taking home the crown of world champions. We have already sold over 80,000 tickets for the event, including 6 sold out sessions, in our Priority Window and the Public Ballot. The general sale is now underway and the event has the platform and potential to be a summer festival of Pure Hockey Gold.

All competition matches will be played at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre, the legacy venue from the London 2012 Olympic Games, which will be up-scaled to a 10,400 spectator capacity. Hopkins Field in the north of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the iconic location of the Riverbank Arena where Hockey was hosted from London 2012 Olympic Games, is where our Spectator Village will be located. This is only a 6 minute walk from the competition venue.

England Hockey is seeking a company to manage, plan and deliver the Public Catering offer and services for the Spectator Village on Hopkins Field during the Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup in partnership with us.

Bidders can either directly provide or recruit a trusted range/consortia of food vendors to deliver the brief. This can be a mixture of sub-contractors or in-house caterers.
