Glasgow 2014: Day one round-up

Day one at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games saw England's Jodie Stimpson win the first gold medal of the competition as she triumphed in the women's triathlon. Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee followed suit, securing a 1-2 finish for England. The first day of action culminated in Scotland's Ross Murdoch winning gold in the 200m Breaststroke.
