Performance Nutritionist (Level 2)
Salary: £47,699-£54,569 per annum*
Full time (35 hours per week)
Fixed term up to 12 months covering maternity leave
Based at sportscotland institute of sport, Stirling (covering regional network)

At the sportscotland institute of sport we provide high performance expertise to sport and athletes in Scotland to enable them to succeed on the world stage. We strive to create a high performance learning environment where innovation can thrive.

We are looking for a Performance Nutritionist who will deliver Performance Nutrition services to a range of sports working towards the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games and other key performance targets.

You should have significant post-graduate experience in providing a Performance Nutrition service within a high performance system. You must also have a strong skill set in the design, implementation and evaluation of periodised nutrition support for athletes and sports.

In this role, you will support the integration and provision of Performance Nutrition with other service disciplines therefore, an ability to work effectively both independently and with a varied network of coaching and multidisciplinary support staff is essential.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant first degree, a recognised post-graduate qualification, eligibility to be a Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist and have Practitioner SENr status.

This vacancy is full-time with the day-to-day workload focused within the Scottish performance system therefore delivery will be a blend of home working and travel throughout the institute network. A full driving licence is essential, as is the ability to travel independently between sportscotland sites.

* Please note successful candidates will be appointed at the entry point of the salary band.
