Job Description: Millwall RFC are looking for a Women’s Head Coach to take our Venus team into the 2026/27 season and beyond.

Founded over 30 years ago and based on the Isle of Dogs in central London, Millwall RFC is the heart of rugby in the local area, with two men’s XVs, a women’s section, and a growing youth section.

The Millwall Venus women’s section was established in 2005 and has spent the last two seasons building into an engaged, retained, and developing squad at the NC3 level. With our current coach stepping down in June, we are keen to maintain this momentum into next season.

We are looking for a coach who can lead and develop the women’s team while fitting into the Venus culture, which is central to this role. Our squad is made up of players of all ages, abilities, and experience levels. We are inclusive, supportive, and encourage everyone to have a go, while fostering a respectful, empowering, and uplifting environment that aims to continually improve skills and confidence.

Requirements:

Minimum RFU Level 2 coaching qualification or actively working towards this

Experience coaching women’s sections (highly desirable)

A positive, inclusive, and player-focused approach
