Job Description
Join Manchester City Football Education at our London recruitment day and explore two coaching pathways: a casual variable-hours role based in the UK, or a full-time opportunity in the United Arab Emirates. Taking place at Hertfordshire Sports Village in Hatfield on Sunday 15 November 2026 from 12:00pm to 4:30pm, this event is an opportunity to demonstrate your coaching approach and be considered for the role, or roles, that best match your experience and plans.

Who We Are

Manchester City is a football club rooted in East Manchester, with a story that began in 1880 and continues to grow today. Built on resilience, belief and togetherness, success on the pitch is driven by the moments and memories shared with millions of Fans around the world. City is known for its bravery, its determination to the very end and its strong connection to where we come from. With Mancunian roots and a global outlook, we are shaped by our Fans and driven by a long-term vision, from developing future talent to supporting the communities we call home. Together, we are creating the next chapter, the City way.

Manchester City Football Education creates engaging coaching experiences that support player development and inspire a lifelong love of the game. Across our UK and international programmes, we bring the Manchester City coaching philosophy to life through positive relationships, thoughtful session design and a shared commitment to helping players of different ages and abilities enjoy the game and progress with confidence.

The Role

This London recruitment day brings together two distinct opportunities within Manchester City Football Education. You may ask to be considered for the UK casual role, the full-time UAE role, or both.

UK casual opportunity. Based in the UK, you will prepare, deliver and review sessions aligned with the Manchester City coaching curriculum and methodology. Working across weekends, evenings and school holidays, you will create welcoming, organised and development-focused experiences for players of different ages and abilities. You will receive mentoring and training while contributing to consistent delivery, effective communication and professional standards.

UAE full-time opportunity. Based in the UAE, you will deliver programmes that reflect Manchester City's coaching philosophy across a range of age groups and abilities. You will support planning, review and continuous improvement, adapt sessions to the players and environment, and build positive relationships with players, families, colleagues and local stakeholders. You will also represent Manchester City through wider programme activity across the region.

What You’ll Bring

A minimum UEFA C, FA Level 2 or equivalent coaching qualification
Experience planning and delivering football coaching sessions in an education, community or club environment
Proven ability to adapt coaching for players from different age groups, backgrounds and abilities
Clear and effective communication skills with players, families, colleagues and other stakeholders
Commitment to ongoing learning, safeguarding and the professional standards relevant to the selected opportunity

Why Choose Us

Working at Manchester City means being supported to do your best, with the flexibility and encouragement to look after your wellbeing. We are committed to helping our people learn, grow and thrive in a culture built on collaboration, openness and hard work.

Benefits are aligned to the opportunity. The UK casual role offers flexible working arrangements, ongoing mentoring and training, and the chance to build your experience in a supportive coaching environment.

The UAE role offers a comprehensive international relocation package, including housing, medical cover, a transport allowance, flights and visa sponsorship, alongside the opportunity to gain international coaching experience in a multicultural environment.

How to Apply

If this opportunity sounds like it is for you, we would love to hear from you. To apply, please submit your application via our careers site by 12 November 2026. We encourage you to apply as soon as you can.

In your application, please state whether you would like to be considered for the casual UK opportunity, the full-time UAE opportunity, or both.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the London assessment on Sunday 15 November 2026. The assessment will take place from 12:00pm to 4:30pm at Hertfordshire Sports Village, De Havilland Campus, Mosquito Way, Hatfield Business Park, Hatfield, AL10 9EU.

We work with a select group of agency partners and do not accept unsolicited applications. Any CVs submitted without prior agreement will be treated as a direct application.

Equal Opportunities

City Football Group promotes equal opportunities in employment and we positively welcome applications from all candidates regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation.

We will screen all applicants and select candidates whose skills and experience seem to meet our needs. We will carefully consider your application during the initial screening and will contact you only if you are selected for an interview. If you require reasonable adjustments or any support throughout the process, please contact hiring@cityfootball.com and we will be happy to help.

All CFG recruitment communications originate from @cityfootball.com email addresses.
