Job Description
Role Overview

We are seeking an internationally experienced elite padel coach to deliver and develop a high-performance coaching programme aligned with recognised international standards.This role is designed for a coach with substantial experience in elite European padel environments, capable of contributing to the technical, tactical, and structural development of advanced junior and senior players competing at national and international level.The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing training methodologies used in established international padel systems and supporting the long-term progression of high-performance athletes in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Deliver elite padel coaching to advanced junior and senior players
•⁠ ⁠Design and implement high-performance training programs aligned with international competition standards
•⁠ ⁠Prepare players for participation in national and international tournaments
•⁠ ⁠Apply advanced technical and tactical coaching methodologies used in professional padel environments
•⁠ ⁠Conduct detailed performance analysis, including match review and tactical breakdowns
•⁠ ⁠Contribute to long-term athlete development frameworks consistent with elite European academies
•⁠ ⁠Support the development and upskilling of other coaches within a high-performance environment
•⁠ ⁠Assist in the ongoing evolution of an internationally aligned elite padel training structure

Essential Requirements

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 5 years’ experience coaching padel within elite or professional performance environments
•⁠ ⁠Substantial coaching experience gained in a recognised international padel nation (e.g., Spain or equivalent)
•⁠ ⁠Proven experience working with nationally ranked players and/or players competing in recognised international padel competitions
•⁠ ⁠Formal national federation coaching qualifications issued by a recognised padel authority
•⁠ ⁠Demonstrable experience designing and delivering high-performance padel programs
•⁠ ⁠Advanced knowledge of elite technical and tactical padel coaching, periodised training and competition preparation, and performance-based player development models
•⁠ ⁠Ability to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of elite padel standards within the UK
Desirable Experience
•⁠ ⁠Experience within nationally recognised or federation-linked padel academies
•⁠ ⁠Experience mentoring or developing other coaches
•⁠ ⁠Experience preparing players for international circuits (e.g., FIP-level competition)
•⁠ ⁠Ability to coach in multiple languages
