The Lincolnshire Football Association is seeking to recruit a motivated and ambitious Football Engagement Manager to manage the implementation of the North East Lincolnshire football development plan and the delivery of the wider The FA Grassroots Football Strategy and the Lincolnshire FA Business Strategy.This pack provides information and background to help applicants understand the role and assess whether their skills and experience align with what we are looking for.

To be successful, applicants should demonstrate how their experience, knowledge and approach will enable them to meet the key requirements of the role and make a positive contribution to football through North East Lincolnshire.The Football Engagement Manager role is an important role within our organisation. It is the first of this type and if the concept proves to be successful then similar roles will be rolled out across the county.

The role focuses specifically on using the power of football to connect people, support local communities, and deliver programmes that make a positive social impact. The successful candidate will work closely with clubs, leagues, voluntary groups, community groups, various departments of North East Lincolnshire Council, Education Partners and facility providers in managing the delivery of the local football delivery plan. The role will support the affiliated game whilst exploring innovative and creative approaches in using football to support wider community outcomes.

Building strong relationships will be central to success in this role. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and solution-focussed, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You will need to be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, analysing and reporting on data and delivering against key performance indicators and development measures. A passion for supporting grassroots football and helping communities is essential.

This is a full-time role (35 hours per week), which will include evening and weekend work to support engagement activities across North East Lincolnshire.The role will be based in North East Lincolnshire, with the flexibility for hybrid working as agreed by your line manager.

There is the requirement to attend the Lincolnshire FA office for training and team meeting purposes.

The salary banding for this role is £31348 - 34050

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Strategy and Delivery and be a member of the wider Delivery team, which incorporates, Football Development Officers, Coach Development
Manager and Club and Workforce Development Officer.

Lincolnshire FA is committed to safeguarding children and adults at risk. As part of this commitment, the successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and must be committed to maintaining the highest safeguarding standards in line with FA requirements.
