About Us
The Lancashire Cricket Foundation (LCF) is the charitable arm of Lancashire Cricket, using the power of cricket to make a positive difference across communities in Lancashire. Our work is guided by our values: Collaborative, Driven, Inclusive, Passionate, Respectful and Brave.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for three Cricket Connect Development Officers to lead and develop the programme within designated state secondary schools, establishing each site as a year-round cricket hub for pupils and the wider community.

You’ll deliver cricket activity, build strong relationships, develop the programme and create clear pathways into playing, coaching, officiating, volunteering and leadership. You’ll also take ownership of agreed participation, progression and programme outcomes, helping to create a sustainable cricket offer that makes a lasting difference within the school and its community.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Our Values shape how we work and how we deliver Cricket Connect. Below, you’ll see how this role brings each of them to life.

- Be the key LCF contact within your school, building strong relationships with pupils, staff and leaders.

- Build partnerships with clubs, schools and community organisations to create sustainable opportunities beyond the school.

- Plan and deliver varied cricket activity across the school day, evenings, weekends and holidays.

- Take ownership of agreed KPIs and outcomes, using data and insight to track performance and improve delivery.

- Engage young people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, particularly those underrepresented in cricket.

- Develop the site as a year-round cricket hub for pupils, schools, clubs and the wider community.

- Create pathways into playing, coaching, officiating, volunteering and leadership.

- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and professional practice, while supporting teachers, coaches and volunteers to develop their skills.

What You’ll Bring

Essential
- Experience working with children and young people in a school, sport, community or youth setting

- Experience delivering sport, cricket or community programmes
Strong relationship-building skills with schools, communities or partner organisations

-Able to work independently, organise priorities and turn plans into activity

- Comfortable working to targets/KPIs and maintaining accurate records

- Understands barriers to participation and is committed to inclusion and safeguarding

Desirable

- Experience working within a secondary school

- Cricket coaching or relevant sports qualification

- Experience developing community use, participation pathways or a sports hub

- Experience evaluating funded programmes or knowledge of ECB/LCF priorities

- Own car & Clean UK driving licence
