Job Description
The Department
Our Technology team plays a vital role in supporting every area of the Club, providing the systems, infrastructure and innovation that help drive performance on and off the pitch. From supporting matchday operations and elite sporting environments to enhancing the experiences of supporters, partners and colleagues, the team delivers reliable, secure and forward-thinking technology solutions across the Club.

As the Club continues to grow and invest in its digital capabilities, we are looking to expand our Technology team with a number of exciting opportunities across different specialisms. This is a unique chance to play a key role in shaping the future of technology at the Club.

The Role
As Head of Technology Solutions, you will lead the strategy, development and management of the Club’s technology landscape, ensuring technology investment supports effective operations, commercial growth and the evolving needs of the organisation. You will shape and deliver the technology roadmap, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve integration, reduce complexity and maximise the value of existing and future technology.

Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the Club, you will translate business needs into effective technology solutions and oversee the lifecycle, from implementation and enhancement through to replacement and retirement. You will lead the delivery of key projects and improvements, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and sustainable, while maintaining a clear focus on user experience, operational resilience and measurable business value.

You will also manage strategic technology partners and suppliers, oversee budgets and investment, and work closely with Digital Product, Technology Operations and Data and Security teams to ensure solutions align with the Club’s wider technology strategy. As a senior leader, you will lead, coach and develop the technology solutions, building internal capability and creating a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and high-quality delivery.

For further information about the Role, please see the Role Profile.
The Person
You will be an experienced technology leader with a strong background in technology solutions or enterprise systems, with experience overseeing business-critical applications and delivering technology change across complex organisations. You will have a strong understanding of enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, integrations and data flows, alongside the ability to assess technology landscapes and develop clear, practical roadmaps for improvement.

You will bring experience of delivering application implementations and transformation initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and suppliers, with the ability to simplify systems, reduce complexity and improve value. Commercially aware, you will also be comfortable managing budgets, licensing, contracts and supplier performance, while balancing longer-term technology strategy with immediate operational priorities.

A confident and collaborative leader, you will have experience developing high-performing teams and managing competing priorities. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills will be essential, enabling you to build effective relationships with senior leaders and translate complex technical considerations into clear, informed business decisions.

Previous experience with Workday HR and Finance, CRM, ticketing, loyalty or rewards platforms in an event-driven organisation such as football, sport or entertainment is desirable.
