Job Description
JOB TITLE: Event Operations Executive
START DATE: May 2022
JOB TYPE: Full-time (Including weekend work)
SALARY: 20k – 26k (Depending on experience)
BASED: Hersham, London (Travel is involved for events)
TYPE OF WORK: Events/Office-based/Remote working/Logistical
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Graduate with event experience or 1/2 years in the
industry

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, hard-working and
innovative individual to join RunThrough Events to support the
performance of the Operations Team. At RunThrough we strive to be
excellent at what we do and have fun whilst doing so. We are always on
the lookout for development opportunities, moments to grow, while
helping our staff reach their potential.

We are looking for a candidate to support the delivery of cutting-edge and professional mass-participation running events. You shall underpin the daily tasks of event management to include, but not restricted to,
supporting the operations team with venue management, course designs and ensuring high-standards are maintained in relation to preparation and delivery of events.

Key roles and responsibilities
● Ensure all event equipment is checked and in working order.
● Ensure the courses are suitable via venue pre-race checks.
● Ensure sufficient staffing of the event.
● Support the operations team by being the lead cyclist at events.
● Support the event team with venue management, course designs,
marshal maps and result enquiries.

Essential skills and requirements that will be useful at
RunThrough:
● Passionate about physical activity and running.
● Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
● Full driving licence.
● Ability to work independently and remotely during the week.
● Willing to work weekends: early start, early finish.
● Fluid organisation skills.
● Competent with using Microsoft Office programs
● Understanding change is constant.
● Knowledge of the U.K running industry.
