Salary: Circa £21,000 (pro rata)

Location: Edinburgh

Type of contract: Part time 22 ½ hours per week – flexible.

Job Description

The Scottish Sports Association (SSA) is the recognised representative organisation for governing bodies of sport in Scotland.  The Association works to ensure the interests of its members are represented across government, the voluntary sector and the wider sporting world.

The SSA is looking to appoint a Communications Coordinator to implement and manage the SSA Communications and Consultation strategy, provide support to SSA Directors and manage the general functions of the SSA office.

The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of governing bodies of sport and the wider voluntary sector with an ability to effectively manage the consultation process and a small office.  An ability to engage positively and build relationships with members and external agencies is essential.
