FIH Women's World Cup

7 July 2018 - 21 July 2018 | London

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) announced that England will host the Women’s World Cup in 2018, after the conclusion of a bidding process which saw England and New Zealand as the final shortlisted candidates to host the tournament.

The event, held every four years, will be hosted in the purpose-built Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre on London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and is second only to the Olympics in significance. From 2018, the event will be split into two separate tournaments (men’s and women’s), and enlarged from 12 to 16 teams.
