The Para Athletics World Championships will be held at the London Stadium on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, as London becomes the first city to host this event and IAAF World Athletics Championships side-by-side, recreating the summer of sport which transformed the British capital in the summer of 2012.
The Para Athletics World Championships are the largest single-sport competition in the world for athletes with an impairment and takes place on a biennial basis.
Home fans will have a world-class team to cheer on over 10 days of athletics, with 21 Paralympic medallists from 2016 selected to represent the country. This includes seven-time world and five-time Paralympic champion Hannah Cockroft, who has already set five world records this year, Richard Whitehead, who set the T42 200m world record in the London Stadium last year and double Paralympic champion Jonnie Peacock, who has set his sights on also becoming double world champion.
