• 35 coaches have been involved with UK Sport’s Elite Coach Apprenticeship Programme since it was launched in 2010, including British Cycling’s Paul Manning, coach of the world champion women’s team pursuit team
• 438 Olympic and Paralympic medals won by British athletes since the introduction of National Lottery funding in 1997
• £125,000 awarded in research funding since 2008 through UK Sport’s Ideas4Innovation, driving projects to make a difference to the future of British Olympic and Paralympic sport
• More than 150,000 children in Bangladesh taught survival swimming skills through International Inspiration, London 2012's international sports legacy programme
