Mo Farah wins Britain's sixth gold medal of the daySubscribe

Mo Farah capped off the greatest day for Team GB in modern times with a stunning run to gold in the 10,000m. Great Britain and Northern Ireland have won six gold medals and a silver today eclipsing any other single day at the Olympics in the post-war era.
Farah missed out on gold in the 10,000m at last year’s World Championship when he was overtaken on the home straight but he wasn’t going to make the same mistake in this cagey encounter. He let his rivals dictate the pace until the bell and produced a blistering last 400m to leave the field in his wake.
Farah is Great Britain's first Olympic champion in the event.
