Britain's Nick Dempsey has won silver in the Olympic RS:X windsurfing class at Weymouth.
With gold already secured by Dutchman Dorian van Rijsselberge, local resident Dempsey knew a top six finish in the final medal race would secure the silver and made no mistake, finishing third to make up for the disappointment of finishing fourth in Beijing four years ago.
Poland's Przemyslaw Miarczynski took bronze.
