Job Description
Join the SportyMinis team delivering high quality, EYFS curriculum focused fundamental movement and sports skills programme to many of London's high-profile nurseries. We operate primarily in South West London but are constantly expanding to other areas.
You need to be a sport and physical activity loving individual who lives a healthy lifestyle and has a passion for educating children of the early years age. We have coaching positions available for most of the week and coaches are expected to be available for at least two mornings between Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 9.30-11.30am we would also prefer coaches to be available for afternoons during these days as well if possible. This is flexible around the applicant’s schedule however.
Each coach will be responsible for their own nursery setting, delivering weekly a series of 30-minute sessions to children between the ages of 2-5yrs. You will have your own sports kit bag, session plans and regularly be reporting to nursery managers and often parents via our online booking system on the progress of the children's physical development, fundamental movement skills and physical literacy. There will be a framework of coaching principles to work within; however, it is desirable for coaches to bring their experience and coaching knowledge to deliver fun, motivating and educational sessions for all Sportyminis children.
This is a minimum of 1 term contract starting ASAP for training and delivery of the current term that runs through to December. However, with our current growth we hope to transform our part time staff into full time staff (if desired) as quickly as possible so we are really looking to invest in the right people who want a career in sport coaching and teaching!
SportyMinis has seen extraordinary levels of growth because of the professionalism and dedication of our coaches and it is an exciting time to be involved.
