Job Description
Saints Foundation is an independent charity aligned to Southampton Football Club. Harnessing the passion of the Club and its fans we aim to inspire, support and deliver positive change and equality of opportunity for young people and adults at risk across Southampton and surrounding areas.

What is the role?

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join us on match days to sell Saints Foundation Lotto tickets at Southampton FC home fixtures. This energetic role will see successful applicants be a part of our selling team, moving around the concourses and hospitality suites to maximise lotto ticket sales. This role requires a constant friendly, courteous and efficient service to our valued fans with a professional manner at all times.

Other duties of the role will also include the responsibility of ensuring that all company cash is accounted for and protected at all times. You will also need to be comfortable with face to face interactions to help supporters with any queries giving them the very best level of service.

We are looking for energetic, passionate and professional applicants who enjoy being in a vibrant environment and who will thrive on maximising sales and interacting with our home supporters.

Essential experience required:
Experience of interacting with people, particularly in a public setting.

Desired experience:
Some experience of paid work.

Experience of working with people.

Experience in customer service or sales roles.

Experience of handling cash

Desired qualifications:
GCSEs grade A - D in English, Maths and ICT.

Essential skills required:
Competent to complete basic administrative tasks.

Ability to accurately follow instructions.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to work well in a team environment.

Good customer service and sales skills.

Flexibility in approach.

The ability to work on own initiative, without constant supervision.

Always punctual.

Personable with an ability to build relationships easily.

Presentable appearance for work.
