Job Description
Bodybalance Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Sports & MSK physiotherapist to join our busy clinic in an employed position, potentially involving working with national level sports teams. Ideally we'd like someone full time, but will consider applicants for part time as well.
We are after interesting people who have great physiotherapy skills and knowledge. You need to have enough experience to confidently meet the expectations of your patients and the clinical skills to provide effective, lasting outcomes. You'll need to be able to think independently and show initiative, but also to be able to know when it is right to refer on or ask for some help. Most of our patients are self-paying or have private medical insurance; they expect great physiotherapists and we want to offer them the very best care and attention. We want someone who wants to do well personally and who wants to be part of our team environment.
In return, we will offer you an opportunity to show your potential; to develop further, to really stand out and to enjoy your work. We offer great conditions in a workplace that is fun and friendly. You will see a mixed and interesting case load across all ages, predominantly in MSK, sports injuries and orthopaedics. We also offer opportunities to work with athletes and sports teams at both local and elite levels across a variety of sports.
We offer excellent remuneration for the right person with expected salaries above £40K, plus pension, regular in house CPD, 1:1 mentoring, free staff parking, free gym access, and more.
Bodybalance has 3 busy clinics in Hendon, Muswell Hill and Hatfield (on the campus of University of Hertfordshire). All clinics are based inside great gyms and we have full access to their facilities. We are a team of physiotherapists, osteopaths, massage therapists and admin support. We're open 6 days a week and provide our services to the general public as well as the members of two gyms. We also provide services for a bunch of local amateur and professional athletes. We see a high proportion of consultant-referred patients and have a great reputation in the local area.
If you think this sounds interesting to you, we'd love to hear from you. We'll happily consider physios from all backgrounds and walks of life, but applicants must be HCPC registered and a member of the CSP. The private medical insurance companies we deal with tell us you have to have at least 3 years of MSK experience to treat their patients. Private practice experience will be a big plus. As sports people we'd love you to have some experience of working in sport, but we can also offer mentoring to help develop that further if necessary. Unfortunately, we aren't in a position to offer sponsorship for visas so eligibility to work in the UK is definitely necessary.
Please contact us if you would like to know more, or if you would like an informal, confidential chat about whether the role might be suitable for you.
