European Individual Badminton Championships

The European Badminton Championships are a significant event in the International badminton calendar, and carries the must sought after title of European Champion for those players and pairs topping the podium. Normally one event, Badminton Europe granted permission to stage the Team and Individual Championships in consecutive years, in two major cities in the North West of England during 2009 and 2010. The first of these was staged in Liverpool during February 2009 at the Echo Arena Liverpool.

The European Badminton Championships 2010 are being held at the Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, and will offer all five events – Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s and Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles over five days of competition.
