2010 sees the UK host some of the world’s best athletes, as they go head to head in the Gateshead Disability Athletics Challenge.

As part of an action packed weekend of athletics in the North East, which begins with the Aviva British Grand Prix and Diamond League meeting and concludes with the Gateshead Disability Athletics Challenge.

Paralympians from across the globe will be chasing key qualification marks for the IPC World Athletics Championships as well as laying down early indications as we move closer to London 2012.

The London Disability Athletics Challenge is the final event of the Disability Athletics Challenge 2010 series, hosted in the UK’s iconic capital.

Hosted after the Aviva London Grand Prix, the London Disability Athletics Challenge completes a diamond studded weekend of athletics at the historic Crystal Palace National Sports Centre.

Be a part of the historic journey as part of qualification for the IPC World Athletics Championships and preparations for London 2012.

Video clips featuring Great Britain and Northern Ireland Paralympic stars can be seen on UKA’s Official YouTube Channel. UKA is also on Facebook and Twitter, which will feature updates on UKA events and athlete profiles and posts periodically.
