In September 2010 the world’s best competitors will descend on Edinburgh for the biggest, most important archery competition ever seen in the UK.
Taking place in the beautiful Princes Street Gardens, below the imposing skyline of Edinburgh Castle, the competition will bring the skill and tension of knockout archery matches into the very heart of Scotland’s capital city.
Each head-to-head competition will see the archers shooting a total of 12 arrows with 4 alternating ends of 3 arrows.
There is a maximum of 30 seconds to shoot each arrow and the clock starts as soon as your competitor releases an arrow.
This will be a unique opportunity for city centre crowds to watch and be part of a major international sporting event in the build-up to the London 2012 Olympics Games.
